Residential
For 30 years, we’ve been working on residential builds. Some we’ve started from scratch, some we’ve helped to scrub up. We’ve seen it all and we know it. We bring knowledge, experience and a hands-on approach to every project that sees our own team working on the job, not surprise subcontractors. We combine clear communication with meticulous design to deliver the best quality build from concept to completion.
Commercial
Public spaces are made for everybody which is why everyone on our team brings their skillset, experiences and school of thought to every job. We’re proud to have worked with a range of commercial clients across a range of education, government and council projects in a safe, professional and considered manner.
Earthworks
Earthworks involves more than pulling levers, it requires skill, experience and precision. With unparalleled knowledge as a registered builder, our head operator Sam and our fleet of specialised equipment deliver projects with care and efficiency.
With a concrete foundation, this contemporary build boasts four bedrooms, two bathrooms and open indoor and outdoor living areas. With engineered timber floors, large windows and dark finishes, this geometric home balances light and space.
Combining hampton-style living with traditional features, these units invite a sense of coastal calm in suburbia. The weatherboard clad exterior is built on a timber framed subfloor with engineered flooring throughout. Open planned living spaces and alfresco dining bring outdoor living inside and social entertainment throughout.
Four bedrooms, open living spaces and delicate finishes create this home – fit for four and made for a family. Choose to unfurl in front of a gas log fire or find time for independent living in a separate upstairs living area. Other features include a double car lockup garage, alfresco dining area and front garden.
An aged space seeking a functional refresh. Playing with light and depth we pitched a new
trussed roof off the existing roof, to create a high ceiling that welcomes fresh air and nearby sounds.
A few things have changed since the 1950’s, except this house.
We helped this antiquitous beauty step out of the past and into present-day with a contemporary revitalisation, leveraging the property’s large backyard to create a new master bedroom and ensuite. High quality finishes and detailed workmanship enhanced the building’s natural charm in an elevated, functional way.
Utilising the existing roofline enabled the building’s space to reach its full potential. With careful attention to seamlessly match the existing building to the new extension to allow for more teaching. A school that grows alongside its students.
We don’t use the word ‘eyesore’ often so we’ll just leave this picture here. With an unsafe and unpractical construction, we got to work with a large excavation, relocation of multiple services and structural block retaining walls.
An amphitheatre proving that not all hills lead downhill. Mudstone rocks, merbau decking, artificial grass, stack block walls and concrete create a bold colour palette, contrasting against our favourite new canvas: a grass hill.
A one acre block featuring a novel build, site preparation and a colossal site sets the scene for this staged excavation. We began by cutting in a driveway and over 100 meters of service trenches. We then excavated a four meter deep cut into the slope of the block, allowing for footings for the concrete slab. It all ended peacefully, with the removal of more than 1600 cubic meters of soil in total.
1000 cubic meters of soil was shifted on this project to reshape a portion of this steep block. We then cut in a road and reshaped the levels to allow for access and improved water management before bringing in 100 tonnes of landscape rock to form an amphitheatre around a tree.
We excavated over 300 cubic meters of soil out of the site to help form the lower section of the amphitheatre. Each tier is built up with 200 cubic meters of crushed rock, creating a consistent curve throughout the entire design. Brightly coloured artificial turf makes this completed project come to life.
